I think the cross traffic alert just isn't super reliable.
I've had a couple cars pass behind my truck while I was in R without a beep. I've had it trigger on pedestrians walking 10 feet away. It works correct most of the time but I'm never going to rely on it over my eyeballs.
My salesman kept trying to push me into an Ecoboost because of the delay. I'm so happy I stuck to my guns. I've had my truck for 3 months and still get so happy when I see 60+mpg in town.
He left the dealership a couple months later so I think he knew he was changing jobs and was just trying to...
Mine looked the same a week after I took delivery. I soaked the underside in Fluid Film and will refresh it yearly.
Some people are taking their trucks to LineX and having their undercarriages professionally treated, may be worth looking into if you live in the rust belt. I used sprays cans...
I imagine that you maxing that electric motor out at about 10%. Increasing the transition point wouldn't noticeably increase the power to the wheels, just overwork the motor by running it when the gas engine should have taken over.
An issue I've noticed more and more as Gen Z starts driving is that they will be Facetiming now while driving.
We had the promise of video phones dangled in front of us for decades but never really adopted it when the tech became ubiquitous. Now the generation that grew up with video calling...
Haven't really paid much attention to that but when I was going through OBD setting, im pretty sure I saw a PID that lets you read the actual percentage of fuel remaining according to the truck if you want to get more granular with it.
My truck hasn't left deep sleep for more than 5 minutes for over month. Battery voltage has sat at 11.3 with no load throughout. Going to have it load tested and have them replace it.
There is a large difference between a complaint intended to spread awareness and collaboratively look for a solution and complaining because you need that dopamine hit we all get from a good rant. One is more productive than the other.
You see plenty of both here.
I assume it pulls your region from the truck's gps. If a manual adjustment is possible, Forscan would be your most likely bet, but I feel like that may not be an option.
Perhaps your sensor is faulty and could be replaced under warranty if you can demonstrate the issue.
I haven't tested mine...
I think only you can answer this for yourself.
I originally ordered white, changed my mind to Cactus Gray, and I'm happy I went with it. White looks good on fleet vehicles but I personally don't like it as much on a bare truck.
Fresh out of highschool and driving at night; going 70 on the highway. I wanted to pass the car in front of me, finally had a chance when there were no oncoming headlights on a flat stretch of road.
I passed, merged leisurely back into the right lane, and avoided a head-on collision with a dark...
Yeah, I wonder if it looks dim to them at first until you hit a small bump or something and may bounce the beam up enough for them to think that you are flashing them first.
See my post above this one for the csv to import the HVB SOC to torque. Once I imported it, the state of charge and lots of other things I don't care about populated instantly.
Confirming that these instructions worked for me when I set this up last night. Took just a few minutes to get it all working.
Just had to spend 5 bucks on Torque and now I can see my revs and my HVB Charge, instead of trying to interpret wtf that blue box is trying to tell me on the EV Coach...
I get flashed pretty often, sometimes people will just flip their brights on completely.
I think they are just laser-focused, so when it catches someone in the eyes, it goes from dark to full-brightness for them, and not a more gradual transition like you'd have with incandescents.
They are...
