I had hood flutter after I added my hood aeroskin II hood protector. I fixed it by adding a 5/16 fuel line to the hollow rubber gasket towards the back of the engine where the wipers are. That for sure fixed the flutter. Can't say the struts wouldn't hurt.

Finally got the hood struts installed. I suggest having an extra set of hands when you chose to install them.
