I had hood flutter after I added my hood aeroskin II hood protector. I fixed it by adding a 5/16 fuel line to the hollow rubber gasket towards the back of the engine where the wipers are. That for sure fixed the flutter. Can't say the struts wouldn't hurt.Did you have hood flutter? If so did these make any difference with the flutter?
Thanks for the response. I will try that if and when I get mine.I had hood flutter after I added my hood aeroskin II hood protector. It might not be for everyone. It was a struggle without an extra pair of hands. It was an easy install though.I held off on ordering cuz I saw a few posts about not being able to open their hood after a few times…. I assumed it was user error (like the tailgate damper strut hitting the side screw), but wanted to see a few more positive experiences before spending 3 times what the tailgate strut cost me
Unless you're opening your hood every 10 minutes I don't see the point in spending a what $150+ dollars for themI held off on ordering cuz I saw a few posts about not being able to open their hood after a few times…. I got hood supports from Redline tuning that appear to be very good quality! Thanks for the response. I will try that if and when I get mine.
