Nice! Looks good. Did you get the parts from Ford?

Did you have hood flutter? If so did these make any difference with the flutter?

I held off on ordering cuz I saw a few posts about not being able to open their hood after a few times…. I assumed it was user error (like the tailgate damper strut hitting the side screw), but wanted to see a few more positive experiences before spending 3 times what the tailgate strut cost me

I had hood flutter after I added my hood aeroskin II hood protector. I fixed it by adding a 5/16 fuel line to the hollow rubber gasket towards the back of the engine where the wipers are. That for sure fixed the flutter. Can't say the struts wouldn't hurt.

Thanks for the response. I will try that if and when I get mine.

It might not be for everyone. It was a struggle without an extra pair of hands. It was an easy install though.

Unless you're opening your hood every 10 minutes I don't see the point in spending a what $150+ dollars for them

I got hood supports from Redline tuning that appear to be very good quality!
