Makes a huge difference, dont let it slam down, causing wear and tear, its also super noisy letting it slam down. Big reasons why premium trucks have this as a standard option and $40 bucks well spent.
I picked up these triangle tiedown points on amazon, fit nicely with the soft open tailgate assist strut mod and even goes over the remaining bottle opener just fine.
its a bit tricky to get to B, its about 2/3 down the engine but dead center in the front. Might be easier getting from underneath. Installed it yesterday and its a huge boost on level 6 & 7 , love it and makes you really appreciate the turbo and turbo lag lol.
i always think their car is broken when i see it! but its just a scam, i passed on a mav in Feb because they wanted $450 to put pulse light bulb in and it was just a markup. They came with all this fancy paperwork about it saving lives and accidents but it would be mandated if it was that good...
I'm a man spreader and the thigh hits it, and now that i notice it once, it always bugs me. Just use to a wider vehicle or different smoother doors i guess.
Hello, I got a ford maverick tailgate extender accessory but no instructions, I see 4 rivets for the kit but cant seem to find a use for them. The Youtube video i see also says they forgot to use them but edited the part out. Any idea what they are used for?
I work from home and put 3000k miles on my car a year not really concerned about gas prices, but i agree my logic is good. Hybrid is also a fine car, just know the issues with the added parts, and it being a new model, ive been burned on hybrids in the past.
This math doesnt add up but leave it to hybrid owners to dream about savings 18k when they know it will be a wash at best in the long run. I'll barley be savings $300 a year in my situation with a hybrid with gas at $4, and wont have to worry about expensive repairs in 10 years outside of the...
It is only a slight improvement, you only get decent gains in the city for a small amount of time. There is also plenty of evidence of batteries going bad at 8-10 years. Thats why they set the warrenty at 8. I've had one and it went bad right after warrenty ended and it was a $15k repair, the...
its cheaper up front because its far less capable than the 250hp turbo with 4k towing. Its only perk is slightly improved MPG, but ownership costs will probably be more in the long run when the batteries go bad in 7-10 years.
Ford giving themselves a trophy for exporting jobs out of the country, lol. How about we get an independent award for quality, and bring those jobs back to a state not run by the cartel.
I agree, they should have made it with a silver insert or something within that front skid plate to take away the cheap grey plastic look. Assume it drops the mpg a bit also without the air skirts. Also the rear bumper needed an update as well.
