Hello, I got a ford maverick tailgate extender accessory but no instructions, I see 4 rivets for the kit but cant seem to find a use for them. The Youtube video i see also says they forgot to use them but edited the part out. Any idea what they are used for?

its cheaper up front because its far less capable than the 250hp turbo with 4k towing. Its only perk is slightly improved MPG, but ownership costs will probably be more in the long run when the batteries go bad in 7-10 years.

I agree, they should have made it with a silver insert or something within that front skid plate to take away the cheap grey plastic look. Assume it drops the mpg a bit also without the air skirts. Also the rear bumper needed an update as well.
