I had the same wording on my Bronco Sport order that I made five days after ordering the Maverick. I think the Bronco Sport orders opened up like six weeks before I ordered so I was definitely not one of the early ones.

My 2011 Ram just hit 235k and is starting to pile up the issues. Regardless, it'll make it. It's just going to be a matter of how much I put into it between now and then.

It is what it is. I figured I'd be lucky to get mine by October 2023. If it came any sooner, I'd call it a win. Every day though I am more glad I ordered a Bronco Sport a few days later. At least I'll have a going to town rig while I wait in the Maverick.

If you live outside of city limits in the desert dust and such is a constant problem. Enough times of touching a screen, wiping it off, etc. and you've basically scrubbed it with sandpaper.

I'm in the same exact boat. Can't afford to replace my Dodge 1500 right now. Paid $24k out the door on it in 2011. I went for a Maverick for my everyday running around, hunting, trapping, etc. so I don't wear out the pickup that is $60k to replace.

If you plan on trading it in in a few years, I'd go for it. I plan to keep mine till it completely falls apart so I would never get one on purpose. Later on they're a constant source of trouble. I despise sunroofs with a passion.

Oh most definitely, but that is for sure not in the financial cards at the moment. Same reason I've got a '92 K3500 dually I keep limping along for when I need to pull a gooseneck. It's worn out but definitely can't afford a new version of that.

Another one here. XLT, Eco, AWD, fx4, 4k, luxury, 360, sliding rear glass, block heater. I will have a spray in bed liner put on immediately , probably a lift kit real soon after it arrives as well.

Still shows the drop in bed liner with the luxury package even though it's not listed. I don't mind as I will literally go from the dealership to a shop for a spray in liner if my Maverick ever shows up.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Hardware like that isn't like a widget in the cab that is a minor inconvenience to not have later on. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
