No doubt! A truer value comparison for my example would be to compare my 1995 Ranger s/c mt to a BASE hybrid Mav. The base hyrbrid Mav has many more features (except cruise) than my old Ranger! Best to compare 1995 ranger s/c mt XLT $14,500 to 2022 base Mav xl $21,500! The 2022 Mav XL...

I took the stock lariat wheels (no upgrade), no floor liners, and no Sunroof (my wife can be sun-sensitive, and we liked the extra headroom). That adds up to the difference.
