Oof. Unfortunate rocks are the mortal enemy of low ground clearance. The most painful thing for me though are those tiger stripes on a brand new vehicle :(
I think its because there are a lot of ledges on the front grille area for snow to lock into. Theres enough room for cooling, but the headlights would definitely be very dim lol
Noooo, im not special anymore :(
Its cool they finally came out with something like this though. Doing the front sway bar sounds like a nightmare though lol
My only complaint about bluetooth audio with sync lite is that the audio quality is HORRIBLE compared to wired android auto. Its like the source volume is locked to 100% so the phone does all sorts of compression to try to limit distortion, but it ends up still coming across distorted...
People are oddly focused on the rather useless 0-60 metric on a commuter vehicle, IMO. With both EB models there's a lot of torque management that goes on off the line that really reduces the potential advantage there. The hybrid can just ask for the best gear ratio and sit the engine at high...
The real answer is no, it would cost an unreasonable amount. Youre missing the special cooled ptu, rear diff (which is stupid expensive on its own), among all the electronic integration. Add in labor and youre better off trading in for one
Had this again today for the third time, it's so random I think it's actually a software bug and not something related to the battery. The second I turn the physical lock and open the door, the key starts working (and the truck starts the alarm countdown on the dash). Gonna try seeing if the...
The backend software on these trucks is abysmal IMO, I'm sure most people could find stored "loss of communication" codes between random modules. On my truck, the audio module randomly loses communication (once every few weeks) with the screen shortly after startup, causing it to default to the...
I have noticed that the plate that mounts on the truck bed underneath the tailgate cable can pivot a bit over time. Does anyone know what the proper torque spec for that t50 bolt is?
I like mine, other than the slow winter performance lol. Pushing it down makes it go a bit faster at least. Plus it drops unassisted at the very beginning before the shock starts to work. I read somewhere you can flip it around to help with that but meh
Looks really fun. I've considered doing something similar, but it's always stressful to take a brand new vehicle over stuff like that. It seems to me like a smaller and shorter rear bumper would help departure angle quite a bit, which is really the main limitation besides ground clearance. You...
Wonder if it is just an aiming issue for some people, I was very impressed with the headlights of mine. Especially when you really go out into the boonies. Driving in the desert at night and I could see everything.
Its kind of mid really. More complex than needed, but better than those older escapes lol. My mustsng was really easy. Just a little dedicated box with a plastic lid. They should all be like that, but alas.
