I understand that, I referred to the product as a tool employers can deploy to facilitate screwing their employees on mileage reimbursements. What is not clear, to me anyway, is who sets the rates, and more importantly by what measure? Who decided that $238/month and $0.14/mile is equitable...
I'll second the vote for Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions. I've always use regular old carnuba paste wax because it does the job...the only thing is I hate waxing my vehicles and I procrastinate...and it doesn't get done as frequently as it should. Hybrid Solutions wash and spray on "ceramic/wax"...
Wow. I fell down a rabbit hole on this one. I'd never heard of FAVR or Motus. So off I went...
The Motus website seems intentionally opaque on how the sauce is made. I found a competitor whose site seems a little more forthcoming on how it all works: Here is a link for anyone interested...
Ford has a process to price protect customers who placed orders before a price increase. I don't recall the exact details, but I think it's along the lines of:
1) the ordered vehicle shows up with the increased price on the window sticker
2) dealer discounts customer back to order price
3)...
The sentence continues:
"While Ford still plans to produce a limited number of 2022 model year Mavericks for dealer stock
inventory, the priority for remaining production will go to unscheduled Maverick retail orders based on the date they were submitted by the customer’s Ford dealership...
I tried to love the look of the steelies on my carbonized gray XL, but it never grew on me. They always just read "basic" when I looked at my truck, even after swapping the awful passenger car tires for chunkier AT tires. When I found a set of Bronco Sport take offs for a reasonable price, I...
I ordered a hybrid on 11/15, the last day Ford was accepting hybrid orders. At that time my dealer told me it would be May or June before I see the truck. In reality, it will probably be August or September, if not later (a MY 2023?).
I happened upon an avaialble AWD EB a couple of...
I'm a fan of the faceted plastic panels as well as the exposed screws in the interior. I give Ford props for making the effort to create a visually interesting, functional interior.
I've heard people compare the interior panels to corian countertop material or the the inside of a portapotty...
Ford's gonna take the funeral industry by storm with that sexy new model. Undertakers across the country are going to be lining up six deep at their local Ford dealer to get their order in early for that bad boy. ;) 😂
Agreed. A few years back, I went to pick up a vehicle I was leasing. It had a pretty sizable gouge in the rear bumper cover - like someone backed into it and caught my bumper with something protruding from theirs. The dealer said to come back the next day and it would be taken care of. I...
Assuming you can find one, a hybrid Maverick XL with a tow hitch receiver as the only option would set you back $21,590. It'll tow 2,000 lbs, gets great fuel economy, and comes with a warranty. I can't think of a better value in a vehicle, new or used for that price.
Yikes. That's a bummer. I suspect the dealer is going to tell you that the time to address the issue was when your confirmation email arrived stating you'd ordered a black truck. If you really don't want a black vehicle, I'm sure you can buy it and flip it, then order a '23 when the banks...
I'm not quite sure about the pagoda roof treatment, but I'm 100% in on the all black Lariat wheel treatment. Finally, the Lariat wheels show some attitude.
Did you receive an email from Ford confirming your order back in June? If you did, and it states that you ordered CG, I would ask the dealer to explain. Then ask them to reach out to thier Ford reps to do something about the screwup.
Seems easier to buy an XL and add cruise control via the swapped steering wheel program, than to swap the interior in an XLT. The XLT interior is my least favorite of the three.
