But your dealer has delivered hybrid orders. Just because they are fleet orders, that doesn't mean they don't count as delivered orders.
I'm still not convinced that Ford is going to need to convert any 2022 orders to MY 2023. They shut down the order pipeline very early in the model year...
Today, Ford announced revenue, net income and other associated financial information for the 4th quarter as well as FY22. From Ford's press release today:
"Fourth-quarter revenue ($37.7 billion), net income ($12.3 billion) and adjusted earnings before interest and taxes ($2.0 billion) all were...
I was wondering if Doug would accept a Maverick on his site. This answers the question.
It also answers the question of what a nearly new Maverick is actually selling for.
You didn't indicate what day/date your dealer attempted to change your order, but I've heard that Ford's ordering system is glitchy on days that Ford is trying to preview and schedule orders. Have your dealer try to make the change again on Friday. Apparently that's a good day for the system...
I live in Broward County. I've seen three *four *five Mavericks besides mine: one velocity blue, one cactus gray, and one other carbonized gray. I've seen one Santa Cruz.
*edit: I saw a white Mav painted up like a work truck Wed, 2/2. Saw an A51 in a parking lot on 2/4.
I read somewhere...
I've been averaging very low 20s in my AWD EB. I don't drive aggressively by any measure. I do drive mostly short trips, in town and have to go out of my way to use an interstate or any sort of highway. This is the type of driving that the hybrid is supposed to excel at. I hope to have my...
I like the fact that my truck has 360. I'd probably pass on a Maverick that lacks that feature. I suspect it will probably contribute to resale value.
You can always wrap the white truck down the road if you get tired of the color.
This is a clip from a TV biography of Henry Ford. I tried to embed the exact clip. If I didn't do it right, go to 10:36 in the video.
Apparently our great, great grandparents may have had the same issues as many of us are experiencing today...
This Argentinean reviewer drove it harder than any North American review I've seen!
No hybrid available (yet) in Argentina.
Lariat AWD w/ FX4 sells for equivalent of $47,391 UDS. Ouch!
Maybe the moderator can create a "my dealer told me (fill-in-the-blank*) production has been stopped!!!!" thread, then consolidate all these posts to that one thread which will make browsing this forum much more productive and more enjoyable. o_O
*engine! hybrid! hybrid...
Dealers make shit up. They do it every day. Sometimes for nefarious reasons, mostly because they don't like to look stupid. I'd take everything your dealer says with a grain of salt. It's very likely you are better informed than he or she is. Follow the forums pay attention to people who...
So...based on the difference of 36,767 between your 3/21/22 VIN and my late October production VIN, it looks like Ford will have averaged approx 7,350 Mavericks per month between October and March. If they keep that production pace up, Ford should be able to deliver another 37,000-44,000...
Maverick is built on the same platform as the bronco sport, not the bronco. Bronco wheels aren't interchangeable with Maverick. Ford doesn't offer the bronco sport with wheels smaller than 17".
I saw two different Mavs last night inside the span of an hour. I was seated at an outdoor table having dinner when a cactus gray FX4 rolled by, followed a short time later by a Mav that was carbonized gray.
It seems my reaction was amusing to my dining companions who are definitely not car...
