I have noticed the same thing after the update. I usually drive in Eco mode. Seems the computer asks if you want to continue with the mode used the last time you drove the truck. If you say no, or nothing, it reverts to normal

I am not sure, I did not investigate the issue; I was happy with the perceived increase of quality.

On my 2024 Lariat my solution was to replace the door speakers, the original ones were cheap crap. Also added sound deadening to the door panels. The cost of having it done by a car stereo shop was about $500; but there was a great improvement in sound quality. I am crazy and traded the 2024...

While one of the reasons I went with 4k was to tow; I can't say that I would have ever thought of doing this. This is really "out of the box". Would think using upfront carrying would conflict with many safety features on my 2025 Lariat.
