Steel vs aluminum wheels - weight, handing, mpg?
I ordered an XL. Most of the “factory” aluminum wheels don’t have much advantage. I’m happy with steel wheels.

Lowering springs for Maverick
It would look better without the large gap above the tire. Also, I’ve driven lowered cars since 1960.

We agree. I wasn’t clear that I was referring to FWD.

The XL elephant in the room... no cruise control on the XL..
I rarely use cruise control on my Frontier. I’m more concerned about manual mirrors on the XL.

Which Bed Liner?
I ordered a factory spray liner. My Nissan Frontier has a drop in plastic liner. I’m concerned about the metal bed underneath it. My previous pickups have had spray in with no problems.

Never use cruse control. Don’t care. I do care the side mirrors are manual. A safety issue.

What do you like LEAST about the Maverick?
Manual side mirrors. The ability to adjust side mirrors in a safety issue. Should be standard for all models.

Why did you order a Maverick? What are you going to use it for?
I’ve wanted an economical smaller truck. It looks like it meets my needs better than anything else.

Just gave order to my dealer in Olympia WA. XL with sprayed bed liner. Wish I could get the better console in the XL.

I’m guessing the rear springs will be the issue.

Lowering springs for Maverick
Interested in a 2” drop on an XL. Anyone have any information on lowering springs or techniques that will work with this suspension?
