So adding my experience. I paid for the full sized spare option. In my mind I thought I would be able to rotate 5 tires instead of 4 (which should get you more wear out of your set of tires) . Catch is, the full sized spare uses a different tire than the other 4 (Scorpion) tires, so can't...
Hit a pothole that made my soul leave my body and walk towards the light for a split second. 1 Wheel is bent, so looking for another one (or a lead on where to get one at this point).
Bought this one. Ran into one bug. I have my Iphone set up to autoconnect to my Wi-Fi in the house. This thing works by creating a Wi-Fi connection between your phone and this adaptor.
Since I was in range of my house when I tried to "install" it, it didn't connect and didn't seem to work...
Carabc Wireless USB adaptor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BD6V7M57
Lets you connect wirelessly to your Carplay radio (I did not test the Android functionality since I don't have an Android phone to test).
Saw someone else had one of these and I've been wanting to get one so I got one...
So if Maestro make something, where would it go? Not sure there is a ton of depth behind the radio for anyting (or anywhere else to mount a radio solution). I'm not really my breath either.
FIgure if I really wanted to go crazy, get a signal processor/DSP or DSP/amp combo that allows for...
With some amps, might not need an LOC. I would try to get one that doesn't need an LOC (less boxes to hide, less places for noise to inject itself). I think the Audio Control amp they have doesn't need one, can take a signal straight off the speaker outputs.
I would second this suggestion. New front speakers (there are some drop ins that have a how to here that) off the AC amp, rear speakers off the factory radio, and sub off the AC Amp.
Based on their offering, I would go with the P&PK guys. They seem to sell kits with Audio Control products integrated so they are probably familiar with the amp you are using and will likely have a kit that is even more plug and play.
So piggybacking on the thread, I would like to have a mount that would go to the right of the 360 hardware above the mirror mounting plate. I don't want it below the mirror as it's somewhat distracting there. Does anyone have a suggestion for that? I've searched and a few mirror mounts or...
Ford pays for it until they don't. At some point my guess is that whatever tech they use will become outdated (there were some older On Star types of service that were running on 3G that was being fazed out so the stuff will stop working). As 3G Rides Off into the Sunset, What Cars Are...
I'll answer this question. Go with #2.
Bass blockers usually are to keep the bass out of the midrange/midbass speakers. They are not designed to keep the bass out of the tweeters. That's what the JL Audio crossover that it came with is designed to do. Plus, it's a much steeper slope (so...
