Can't be too difficult to figure out.
Look at how the tailgate hinges are attached to the tailgate and to the bed.
If there are screws or bolts, the screws or bolts can be loosened to check for play and adjustment.
There is no possibility of adjustment of any side that is welded.

Did you also create a way to hold those "doors" closed?
Otherwise, if the "hinge" is at the rear, it looks like they'll be flapping in the wind as you drive.

Well. The smart thing to do would be to take down that under-cover one time to verify your template before you make access holes. At the same time, it would answer your question on filter and drain location.
That would eliminate all guesswork and the possibility of ruining the existing...
There's really only one way to know for sure: pull them all and see if they stick to ferrous things.
Be quick, though, or all your oil will end up on the ground, and that's bad for the environment.
