I can't imagine any EB driver averaging 32 MPG after 100,000 miles. I drive almost exclusively in the city and am lucky to see 20 MPG in my AWD EB. You don't state what kind of driving you do, but if even a small percentage of it is in the city, you need to extend your calculations down to...
In my experience, LM takes about 1-2 weeks to send the MCO. If you haven't received it after a couple of weeks, call the finance office and speak with someone there. They should be able to give you status.
My dealer charges $495 for a dealer installed SIBL (same as factory cost). I'm not sure what other dealers get. I believe the cargo management system is $400 if ordered through Ford accessories. I believe it's $2XX if ordered from the factory. Assuming you are paying $495 for the SIBL...
There is a considerable difference in fuel economy between driving 70 MPH and driving 80 MPH.
I can get low (very low) 30s in my EB if I keep it to 70 MPH. It drops 4-5 MPG if I drive closer to 80.
I don't think any Maverick, regardless of engine is going to get real world 40 MPG driving 80...
Fair point.
It's also not right that someone who ordered a Maverick on October 15, 2021 still has no truck, no VIN and no idea if/when the order is going to be built. There is a lot about this process that's not right.
I can tell you one thing. I'm glad I'm not the person at Ford whose job...
If Ford is allowing hybrid order-holders to change to EB without losing their overall place in the order queue, then presumably* some will decide to order Tremors. Those orders may in fact get built before some existing Tremor orders. So, to answer your question: yes, it looks like it's...
Those are my two favorite Maverick colors. Area 51 is more interesting in person than in photos. Cactus gray still turns my head when I see it on any Ford. Both look great with all black trim/wheels. I'm not sure there is a wrong choice!
I've had a half a dozen 3-series BMW convertibles over the years. They're affordable and pretty reliable and a lot of fun with a manual transmission and they have a back seat (such as it is) so you can take more friends along for the ride. I like the E30 and E46 series the best.
I noticed something that struck me as unusual about the '22 Mavericks and their EPA fuel economy. I've mostly purchased and driven Hondas over the past several years, so I'll use them as an example: When one looks at manufacturer's websites, they frequently post different EPA fuel economy...
Not for nothing, but this article was published in October, 2019. I'd be curious to know how OEM have adjusted their algorithms to reflect the fact that the new vehicle market is very different than it was three years ago.
Ford relies upon their dealer network to provide front line communications with customers. This is not an unreasonable expectation until one considers that Ford dealerships fall into one of about three general categories:
A. Organized and informed - they communicate effectively with their...
My state doesn't require front plates and I don't want a bracket, holes, or any other evidence of a front plate on my vehicle when I pick it up.
Ford makes front brackets available during the ordering process. It's 100% on the dealer to make sure your vehicle is equipped and delivered with...
