No dealer doesn’t know nor does fords customer service. So not sure why it happened.

I agree with that. Mine is shipped as well, isn’t much I can do but wait. It will get here when it does. I got my financing rate locked in and will get my insurance rate locked in when I hear something from my dealership.

I couldn’t find any official messaging on this to clarify but if the f-150 forums have any accuracy from what I read convoy is still transferred to a rail car at some point. 🤷

When they schedule the build date is usually when they send the vin. At least that’s when I got mine

You will get a confirmation with an order number check your emails junk folder, mine got auto sent there. The next email will be a vin with a build date. Once you get the vin you can track your order on ford.com

Congratulations I just got the notification that mine shipped. Wish my experience was as smooth as yours but progress is progress.

My brothers 24 sat 8 weeks in a rail yard. He knew another guy who had a truck on the same rail car got his two weeks after they arrived at their destination. Apparently ford could get a truck to take it to the dealership.

I completely understand. We are all in the waiting game for our trucks, hope yours is worth the wait!
