Yeah feels like this dealer snuck them on when they filled out the order. If they did it to me I’d make them give to me for free after adding them behind my back, it’s scummy that they did that!
It’s actually weird before last summer you’d rarely see one in a dealership but then they started showing up everywhere but all the dealerships had were 2.0L, I’d see plenty of hybrids driving around but yeah it’s weird stock orders locally only seem to be 2.0L for 2025’s.
I don’t know, sounds a few others are more familiar with this process than me, sorry. I’d be reluctant to say he’s being that hybrid is limited for scheduling but that doesn’t mean it won’t.
I mean I understand what you are saying but these trucks are just hitting lots. They are selling tons of these trucks thru retail orders. As far as the stock orders, at least within 100 miles of me, none of the dealers stock orders are hybrid. The 2.0L is a great engine but I see more retail...
I mean I get it. It’s hard waiting especially when you know it’s close and people have had their trucks for weeks. I hope the trucking company gets it in gear so you get it before that. The reason it’s not directly trucked has a lot to deal with the factory being in Mexico. Think f-150’s are...
I’m honest just happy it’s close, it had a very long production status of 19 days, and two weeks after it shipped it got a big delay so I called ford customer service and was told it was in Mexico at the factory still which upset me. My dealership cleared it up and it wasn’t far out. I know...
I have no skin in this game yet but you guys are making me excited to get my truck hopefully next week. Its definitely going to an upgrade from my 13 ford fusion.
I hear you there my brothers 24 maverick sat in the rail yard for two months. I think the hardest frustration is the inconsistency some people get it almost immediately after it’s dropped off then others like you and my brother have to wait. I imagine mine is now at the rail yard waiting for a...
I do the same run it at a higher rate til it’s desired temp then tone it down once it gets where a want it. Radio is pretty much background noise so I rarely adjust that either but I can control my radio and temp from the steering wheel on my current vehicle lol
I mean if you learn voice commands it’s hands free, I get what you are saying but there are ways around using the touch screen. But I’d also like to add pushing buttons can be just as distracting if you aren’t familiar with the lay out. So I think the important thing about all of this is...
Not positive, I figured the dealer would be the ones to add them since you are purchasing thru them but I can’t imagine it would take long to see them.
Wonder if this was on the window sticker… if they try adding options like that I have my window sticker and build sheet so they can’t say I ordered extras like that.
I get the discussion from both sides, I like the way the infotainment system is in 25MY but I also have parents in their 70’s they didn’t grow up with all the technology, they would struggle to master the touch screen controls. On the other hand I think the voice commands would work for them and...
So for those who got their 2025 mavericks what did you guys get with your ford points? Just wondering what kind of value I can look at spending with them. But also talking about accessories might be fun lol
