  1. Has anyone ever regretted getting a XL?

I went XLT for the cruise control. On a long road trip, it is a Godsend.
  2. How to Disable Seat Belt Reminder Ok Button Push?

100% this! It is so obnoxious. We know to buckle up, we don't need a nanny. Pain in the butt, one more button press delay. I'm already trying to get in to my drive mode and disable autostop ASAP so I can get going.
  3. Summer Must-Have: The Ultimate Backseat Comfort Set is Back!

Awesome! I'm also eyeballing your seat covers and the door handle organizer. Glad to have cool accessories available!
  4. New Member with a New Maverick

Welcome and congrats! You have quite a few options as to what you can do with her. Just - Don't feed it after midnight!
  5. Must Do Maverick Upgrades

If your state doesn't require a front license plate, I'd probably take off that front plate bracket, make the front end just a little bit more handsome. You can put the screws back in the holes afterwards to keep from having two random holes.
  6. What's Your ONE Thing?

IF I had a second thing it would be the option for full-size interior handles.
  7. TK's 2025 Eruption Green Lariat Ecoboost (upgraded from 2022 XLT)

This actually looks like a good price to me at the moment. Disregarding the ~$800 I see the dealers offer as I assume it is a crap job, the quotes I've been seeing near me have been about $1050 for the most basic, with a 6-12 month warranty and like $2000-$4000 for the longer warranties and some...
  8. Prices going up again

Anyone here watch videos from Car Edge? They have a website with a list of models that they say wouldn't be affected by the tariffs, At one point, the Maverick was listed on there when I checked. Although it is listed as affected by tariffs on that site now. https://caredge.com/tariffs I...
  9. Prices going up again

It happens to everything. The car market has been broken on the used side and the new side since the lockdowns. Interesting to see how this plays out going forward. Good reason to maintain your car.
  10. Mabett Giveaway: What Made You Choose the Maverick in the End?

Was looking for a pickup and the Colorado and Ranger were quite a bit upmarket in price compared to their listed MSRPs. I wanted one with a normal transmission, no CVT garbage. The gas option was mandatory. Some models of vehicle I looked at have gone to hybrid-only and that is a deal breaker...
  11. What's Your ONE Thing?

+1 on the vehicle maintaining the drive mode. Being able to set the auto stop setting to OFF by default would be my one thing.
  12. Who bought the "Employee Pricing" deal?

Got the '24 XLT AWD, 4k Towing, 2.0 EB Cactus Gray for $30,700 (after taxes and tags, etc) (was about $28,000 selling price before fees and tags) I like most of the 2024 features Much better than the 2025 which I also drove. The climate controls being buttons instead of in the touchscreen is a...
  13. SLATE Truck Debut! Convertible From Pickup to SUV. Priced Under $20K With Federal Incentive

These seem awesome in concept. I love the focus on the essentials. It is still unfortunately electric, but it is a step forward for EVs/coal vehicles. Would love to see a gas version. I definitely expect the price to jump 10k, similar to the creep up we saw on the Mavericks.
