    Absolutely not. You think he can drive 5000 miles with that much contamination in such a short time. He will wipe out a crank bearing long before he has drive ability issues. The first sign of trouble will most definitely be a knock. But I guess your right a knock could be considered a drive...

    If the OP is suffering from that much fuel dilution and drives 5000 miles it won't make it. It will seize up long before. I would not even drive it at 1/8 over fill if the over fill was caused by gasoline.
