  1. VIDEO: The Right Oil and Change Interval for 2.0 EcoBoost

Just had my first oil change done at the dealership (free) at 2400 miles. For whatever reason the sticker they put on says next oil change at 7400 miles, even though the service advisor told me it’s a 10k interval. I’ll be doing it myself at every 5k from here on out.
  2. EB 2.0 Transmission whine at certain speeds

Did you ever figure out your whining noise? I just noticed a slight whine on deceleration around 10-15 mph. Might be normal I just never noticed it before. It’s Pretty quiet I can only hear it with windows down.
  3. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

For sure, the more info the better. I think I read every catch can thread on this site and countless YouTube videos trying to figure this out. I’m sure you can accomplish the same thing with cheaper cans but I bought a $40 Amazon can and was not confident that the media would stay together...
  4. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

It’s a pricey setup for sure. I think I paid around 320 for it back in January plus all the fittings. I was close to buying the Buschur can but at $280 for just the clean side it would have wound up being more expensive to get both clean and dirty side set up. I was hoping to see more in the...
  5. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

I’m not 100% on the conversion between AN and inches. I used a 3/8ā€ inside diameter hose for the dirty side. And it was difficult to get the fittings in. I put some oil on the fittings and it was still pretty hard to get them in. It took a lot of twisting and pushing to get them on. For the...
  6. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

That fitting is basically the same as what I’m using. It’s not a maverick specific kit, it’s a universal kit from radium engineering. http://www.radiumauto.com/Universal-Dual-Catch-Can-P189.aspx it’s pricey, but I liked the bracket which holds both cans together. I was also considering the...
  7. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

That link won’t open. But I used barbed fittings with hose clamps on the cans. This is my setup. 3/8 hose for dirty side, 5/8 for clean side. I haven’t seen any evidence of leaks, but I also haven’t caught much of anything in the cans yet either. Probably about 1500 miles on the clean side with...
  8. Connectors for "Clean Side" Oil Catch Can

I purchased this, and used the connectors for the clean side with a 5/8 ID fuel hose. https://a.co/d/0twh8s2 Clean Side connectors are difficult to get off without breaking, I ended up breaking both of mine when removing the stock hose. Be careful when doing this, as the orange clip may break...
  9. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

Overall I’m pretty happy with how it sounds, but when I isolate the front stage by turning the sub down and fading to the front, it sounds a bit muffled. The harshness from the tweeters is pretty much gone since my new guy adjusted gains and high pass/low pass on the amp , mid bass is decent. I...
  10. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

Updating this thread for anyone else who may be dealing with something similar. I bought a audio control lc6i. I installed the lc6i and replaced the junk RCA’s with crutchfield reference 4 channel RCA cables. I also got rid of the signal sense turn on and used a fuse tap on fuse 3 to turn on the...

  12. Dash cubby hole -- what's in yours? šŸ“ø

I made the carbon fiber plate. 4 layers of carbon fiber, finished with epoxy resin. I have L brackets on the back of the plate with 3m double sided tape so it can be removed.
  13. INSTALLED: Front Window Tint and Headlight "Eyelid" Kit on Cactus Grey FX4

Man tint makes these look so much better. Definitely need to do mine. I did something similar on my headlights using Vvivid vinyl tail light tint. Looks sick!
  14. Let's talk paint chips - who else is having issues?

Got my carbonized grey 22 xl mid November ā€˜22. Only chips I have are on my tailgate from driving with it down when my atv is in the bed. They’re not really flaking off like yours is where you can see the primer underneath, just very small ā€œdentsā€. Considering ppf. I also only have 2200 miles.
  15. Picking up Maverick tomorrow, What to bring to Dealer with me??

Proof of car insurance with your name on it. Had my card, but my car is on my dad’s account(multi car discount) so the card had his name on it. Was a bit of an issue but we figured it out.
  16. Black Steelies on Carbonized Gray AWL XL.

    Mine are the opposite, haha
  17. Template to fabricate ABS bracket (to mount KEY/LC2i behind glovebox)

Did the lc7i end up fitting? I’m going to try to make a bracket like this for my lc6i.
  18. DIY Smoked Tail Lights using Purple Zep

Just did mine. There’s definitely a reduced light output, but they’re plenty bright once I replaced the bulbs with lasfit. driver side stock bulb, passenger side lasfit, both lights zep’d Driver side stock light, passenger side zep’d, both running stock bulbs
  19. Signal processor for adding amplifier to base sound system

He took the amp apart and inspected it. He said it looks like a good amp and didn’t think it was the issue. He thought the cheap loc, cheap RCA’s, and proximity of the ground cable to the RCA’s was the cause of noise. The amp is grounded to the factory ground location behind the back seat on...
