The sae version is designed specifically not to blind other drivers if aimed correctly. It has a sharp cutoff on the top of the beam

Not sure if you can even tell in photos, but I think it settled slightly. Per my measurements the springs lowered it just over 2” in the front and about 2 3/4 in the rear. Hoping it settles more over time. Only about 70 miles on the springs at this time

If you do get these lights I’d pass on the wiring harnesses and make your own. They weren’t long enough either.

Right now they’re connected to the battery using the diode dynamics wiring harnesses which they sell with the lights. Eventually I went to get rid of that and connect to the fuse box or figure out where I can pull power from the factory harness

Thanks guys! I don’t love the rubber molding so I may look for something else but I’m happy with it for now.

Yes, decided against it because I don’t want a loose remote to control the lights. There’s a removable grommet in the firewall so it’s easy to get the wires in.

yeah, I agree honestly I don’t love the rubber molding. Hopefully someone comes out with a plastic insert that matches the bumper at some point.

haha you have a point. Thanks. Did not take the bumper off. I removed the fender liners which gives you access to the back of where the lights are mounted. However on the drivers side there’s a computer in the way so I had to work through the cutout to mount them. Probably would have been easier...

Got mine installed this weekend! Diode dynamics ss3 sport fog and driving lights using jjc mounts. Fogs only Fogs and headlights Fogs, driving lights, and high beams Driving lights only
