The salesman got resent it to me just now. Yeah you're right, it's useless to use the tracker until you get the VIN. So those 2 codes (I see them now) also have no meaning as far as tracking, tried it too. This is all so weird. Thanks again friend.

Update: Found the paper with only a sales code. Emerged it on Ford's tracker and it just says invalid order number, plus it requires both the order no. and VIN to track its progress. Good grief.
