Wow, so am the only one who uses recirculate when my air is set on 75 and the outside air temp is 100??? How about when outside air temp is -10?? Sure, I let fresh air in once in a while but does it not make the air conditioner work harder to not use it. Does it affect gas mileage??
If it ain't broke, I don' fix it. ECO saves gas if you use the cruise to accelerate on two lane roads. I use the cruise button in place of accelerator or brake if possible.
In July, I sold my 22 EB Lariat to Carvana for 26k with 30k miles. Paid 28,700. They appear to have sold it in one week for 29,900. I bought a 25 EB Ruby Red XLT with luxury package, 4k towing and 360.1 Blis package for 30,500. Note this was with a 750 cash certificate, employee pricing, and...
My first thought was that it is was "Erection Green" and I thought that sounded like a good deal... After seeing one in the "flesh" so to speak, I was left with a lot less "desire"!!!:crackup:
So how are we calculating cost per mile? My last fill was 15.6 gallons for 520 miles. At $2.64 a gallon that is .079 for an EB. In 30k miles I have only had two tanks when I did not get 500 or more miles. 85 percent two lane roads at about 60 mph. I might also add that with my 22 EB I have...
Nice!!!!! Enjoy! Also wishing you good gas mileage..... even if you do use km instead of miles!!:sneaky:😀
I just got an XLT in RR similarly equipped without the FX4. Will post pictures in a day or two.
Happy Mavericking!!!
Have you really changed a lot of diapers? Desert sand does not bring back the same memories to me..........😉😃
Desert Sand with the Smoked Truffle seats is really sharp if you are buying a LARIAT, IMHO
I really like them both!! I do not believe I have seen either up close and personal but I lean toward the desert sand because I believe it would show dust/dirt less than the space white. I live on a gravel/dirt road...... Enjoy whichever you get!!!!!
What is the vertical depth of your banner? It is hard to tell from a picture. It looks like it is more than what I had on my 22, but I just presumed the installer had a standard depth for a MAVERICK. Agree that it is great for early AM and late PM. Stay Safe!!
Looks great! I am picking up a RR next week. Black contrasts well with the red. Will probably just go with a black bug deflector, tinting front windows and a curtain on the windshield and black Mav letters for the tailgate. Thanks for the pics!
Exactly!!!! So why does everyone think the OP who started this thread should just accept it as "standard" All I am trying to say is that it certainly appears to not be a good fit that is up to standards!! Glad we agree.
Your numbers are a bit hard to understand. You are comparing 78 thousands of an inch to five thousand of an inch like they are about the "same". .078 inches is over 15 times more than .005. inches. If the OP's gap is .078 with heat expansion, what will the gap be this winter when contraction...
You may be right, but I would hope not. I honestly think if I went to a Ford dealer, let's say Granger with 42 mavericks and they all had this kind of build, I would have to wonder: "If Ford accepted this what else did they accept that I am not seeing..........??"
It was not my intent to single out your post. However, it seemed to me, perhaps, wrongly that your post was the only one that mentioned because of low-cost that things like body fit should be overlooked or anything else not related to functioning of the product.
Low cost cannot be an excuse...
When the buyer goes elsewhere instead of accepting shoddy, not related to costs, poor workmanship. If you are only interested in function, I guess you did not even walk around your Maverick for a visual inspection before you bought it????
I believe for as long as automobiles were made, body...
Welcome! Enjoy your Maverick and enjoy the heated steering wheel this winter. Hey, he is only 15 so you have the pleasure of expecting the unexpected!!!😆
