I haven't seen info that says FE, specifically, is late availability. Yes, bedliner/tonneau are constrained, but what's your basis for saying FE is late avail?
I'm no trailering expert, but I think that trailer might be pushing the limits of a tow-equipped Mav, once you add passengers, cargo, fuel, water, etc. Even more so if you plan on mountain or desert trips.
I was in Dearborn recently and drove around the Ford PD campus area, on Oakwood between Michigan Ave, Rotunda, and Pelham Rds. I saw 2-3 camo Mavericks and another 3 non-camo'ed M-plate Mavs running around that area. I did not have to enter any Ford property to see them.
Yes, absolutely. Many dealers seem stuck in the past and are unwilling or incapable of meeting customer service expectations. That is why many of us are ordering from a dealer halfway across the country.
I've had heated seats for a while and love them, but just last year I discovered we had a heated wheel on the wife's Escape. Wow! I imagine it sounds frivolous if you don't suffer winter driving, but it is a game changer. Wish I'd had one back in my commuting days.

I think it's a sure thing. Ford didn't tool up an in-house motor design & mfg just to keep paying an external supplier for the essentially the same components.
Yes. I like the symmetry, everything looks balanced. Knobs to turn. The horizontal vents and the strong horizontal line across the dash really make me feel that I'm sitting in an early 70s sedan my dad might have owned. (y) Strange how styling cues like those create such strong reactions and...
Passing along a couple of SE Mich dealers that will do courtesy delivery, in case anyone is ordering from out of state:
DELETED - the guy I had listed decided he didn't like being a CD after all
(btw, I'm not affiliated with either dealer, just sharing info)
Tell me about it, man. Every day since ordering I've debated changing to CG. Most likely I'll stick with A51, but no matter what I end up with, I know I'll always second-guess myself.
