I have the 4K tow package, but I won't be considering any trailers over maybe 3000lbs. You need some wiggle room for passengers weight and all your gear, water, food. Right now I'm leaning towards a hard side A frame pop-up in the 1700-2300lb range.
Buying a 4000 lb trailer for this truck...
Good to hear. I'm pulling a 12' cargo trailer about 800 miles in a few weeks. Trailer should be about 3500-3900 lbs loaded. I'll be driving across much more rugged terrain, though.
I saw a post on here the other day of someone selling leather key fob covers. A custom leather cover... for a plastic key fob...? I just cannot understand why. In all my years of owning vehicles I've never had an issue with a key fob getting damaged or felt it needed a cover of any sort.
I had a Truxport and it wasn't short. Good cover for the price. I tried a trifold first and hated it for the Maverick - it just wastes too much bed space versus a soft roll-up.
Interesting to read other opinions. None of the things you listed bother me (I actually like the gear knob). My only real complaint after 16 months is that the plastics are too easily scratched. I can live with that given the price point.
Generic Bed Extender (non-Ford). In great shape, but I am going to change to a different bed setup and don't need it anymore. Pickup only in SLC (Millcreek).
AFAIK the current government quotas are only for about 67% EV production by 2032 so I think there will be plenty of new gas and/or hybrid gas trucks for another decade or two.
Bought a 5 year extended warranty and plan to sell mine a month before it runs out and upgrade. Getting too old to worry about changing fluids all the damn time or mischievous ford engineers colluding with the execs to stretch their bottom line. Buy the extended warranty, stick to THEIR...
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you are considering a Softopper.
I placed an order 2 weeks ago and still hadn't heard any updated on my order. Today I got around to contacting their CS to see what the order status was and was told 3-4 additional weeks. Their product page and...
Yes the bottle definitely seems cheaper to me. I get it, I go back and forth to Arizona. The 303 automotive protectant is what you want. It really helps prevent all that UV damage. It's $12.79 on Amazon.
I find the wipes to be a waste of money. They also tend to dry out before you can use them all. Just buy a bottle of 303 spray and call it a day. That stuff works great.
