I don't like touch screens in general. I have a 2023 XL and it really annoys me because I have to take my eyes off the road for a longer time in order to find the buttons. I know It's a money decision but I think it sucks

I looked up that 400# Harbor Freight trailer you linked and it looks to me like it's sections of uni-strut bolted together and then they put wheels and a hitch on it. Wonder how long that would last over the years?
turn those 2x4s you use for the ramp 90 degrees and they won't bow like that. Also makes it easier to slide your roof top tent. Love that you found a solution that works and didn't cost any money.
