That's a real shame. I'm surprised there isn't a feature to turn off or recognize the tailgate being down or some way the system should recognize that.

Did you only replace the front door speakers? Might have to look into this and more when I get mine as I've been enjoying a lot of bass from a nice sub that'd be too big to fit in the Maverick :P

I wonder if your sensors see the tailgate down as if it itself is an object? Since I believe the sensor dots are in the bumper if I remember correctly. Kinda funny these jokes about all the bells and whistles. Definitely had a good laugh :)
