The drive-in we like to go to has told us they don't care about what food we bring in. But we always try to spend money on their concessions anyway cuz that's how they make money.
We go to the drive-in theater often and I've found certain vehicles to be more drive-in "friendly" than others. I'm wondering what experiences folks have had taking their Maverick to the drive-in. I am particularly curious about headlight/parking lights, distracting interior lights, battery...
"Jerking people around"? Dude, relax. I'm just happy to finally find a Maverick of my own. Here's the breakdown from the sticker if you want to add it all up.
I almost purchased on a Red hybrid Lariat out in Burlington, NJ this weekend but I waited too long and it went out from under me. This one will do nicely for a while.
I'm buying a vehicle I don't *really* want because my trade-in (2013 GMC Sierra 1500) loses value every day that passes and I'm hoping to get a markup on this one when I go to sell it to buy the 2023 model when it comes in.
FX4, 4K Tow Package and floor liners are the only added options. Base Price $23,360, Options are $4,450. Then there's the customary dest/delivery charge of $1500
Got the call from my local dealer that a customer declined his order so I just put $500 down on a brand-new 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Velocity Blue FX4 Eco-boost.
It isn't a hybrid and doesn't have the lux package so none of the extras I wanted but that's okay. I'll be putting my order in for a...
I once had a discussion with a family member who didn't want to make more money because they would have to pay more taxes. It took some explaining to get that person to realize the stupidity of that line of thinking.
I am also hoping it is quiet. Not being able to test drive a Mav really sucks. I have a 2013 Honda Insight so I am used to really loud road noise and uneven braking issues. I expect those in the Maverick but I'm hoping it is a quieter ride on concrete highways (concrete has the most tire/road...
My local dealership just told me they sell all their non-EV vehciles below MSRP. Apparently they value customer loyalty and experience better than profit. I know they sell a butt-ton of Fords though. I will be placing my order with them as soon as the order banks open next month.
I have yet to see a Ford Maverick up-close and personal. One of my local dealerships said he had five last week waiting for customer pickup. I missed out on looking at them.
So how would a person be able to distinguish between a hybrid and an eco-boost just by looking?
Thanks!
