Those rails are only 50" for a 54" bed, whereas the https://truxedo.com/product-detail/1118329 are 56" and can be trimmed down. Sure would be nice to see a bedrail profile, as well as front corner detail...
My roll up tonneau were worthless after a short while. Flip top works with this...
I'm sure you're right in there with the majority of buyers. Ford would have a tough time making a profit if everyone were as cheap as I am: Scottish to the core.
The 8 speed AT should be smooth sailing with more guts than the hybrid's eCVT, which is super eco but not a "truck" tranny designed...
From my (limited) experience with V6 engines (I've tended to push small highly tuned hi MPG engines), like my Frontier, they run at lower RPM, lower heat (non-turbo) and have more torque at lower RPM, so they last longer. I imagine that instead of saying an engine is good for 200,000 miles (V8)...
But we're not comparing non to turbo'd, just whether you lose power/towing capacity at altitude on whatever vehicle. They all suffer, and the harder your push it, the sooner it'll crap out. We turbo'd F150s way back, great for a while, then gonzo if you pushed too hard too long.
And I'll still...
You lose power at higher altitude, because there's less air, hence less towing capacity.
But in my experience the biggest factor by far isn't towing, it's braking. If you have a big old trailer that weighs more than rig that's towing it, you're in trouble unless you set up the trailer braking...
They said the tonneau cover is open, but didn't have a tape measure.
Bed Rail height is 4'. Width of top plastic rail ?, height of return lip back down to bed? and gap width back to the exterior? then I can draw a picture.
Also photo of end detail at gate, as well as the transition to cab...
Hey Great - if you go by today, can you measure and take a photo of the bed rail gap and profile, including top width, where you'd clamp a ladder rack? Absolutely no info on this anywhere, would be super helpful to figure out an Extang tri-fold with bolt on sliding ladder rack!
And for a mat I'm just going with a 4x6 Grey Turf Mat from Amazon for $36, so it can roll out over the tailgate which gets trashed with regular mats. Trim it a bit, some carpet tape at the bulkhead, roll it out of the way when I need to. Done.
Ordered the Extang Exceed TriFold Tonneau from https://tonneaucovered.com/. Killer deal, 2 month lead time.
Hoping to mate it with the Vantech P3319 ladder rack from www.rackwarehouse.com, which is designed for the Honda Ridgeline. If not, the Elevate adjustable rack...
This will be available early October https://realtruck.com/p/truxedo-sentry-tonneau-cover/v/ford/maverick/2022/ and will work with this rack: https://rhrswag.com/product/adarac-alum-contour-truck-racks/?product_year=2022&product_make=Ford&product_model=F150. About $1500 total.

Depreciation primarily depends on where you live and what the demand is. AWD in Florida? Not high demand, larger depreciation. New England or the Rockies? The opposite.
Good luck with that POS that will be hopeless as a "truck". The Mav is bare bones but at least it'll haul something when I need to, and is cheap. You can buy a real truck for that kind of money, instead of something that will be worthless in a few years.
