Well, it's been 10 months since I installed them. *wasn't even close to 70 degrees*, they are still attached.. Been thru the automatic car wash more times than I can count.. No issues.

Got it on Ebay for 15 bucks.. had to remove it from the original mount, but that was easy enough as the tape holding it on was over 50 years old.
Cleaned it up and used 3M VHB tape to mount it.
