pretty much have the same one. The foam under the edge wouldn’t get in the way. Even if it does it will seal around the fins but the fins don’t even go in that far. If anything I’ll get a better shot of mine later for you.

Which cover do you have? I have the truxedo one and I thought the same but it’s like right before the fins. I get no water in the bed.

Well it held up to highway speeds and a bit above 😏. So the 3m is doing its job but I don’t like the fact that I have to grab the tailgate by the spoiler to close. Might put unnecessary pressure on the tape and cause it to get loose eventually. We’ll see

Would this make a difference on the regular awd 2.0?

This one does attach to the back bottom part of the the tailgate right under the black trim to the paint. I would only put the black adhesive on the top plastic trim. I’ll see how it goes after a few highway runs to work and back. All in all I’m digging it.

You’re right about removing it. I thought if it’s fused to the stock trim I can just pop out the push pins for a replacement.

The plywood would never even get close to the spoiler. The edge that would touch the plywood is right before the spoiler.

Yes, I had bought some sikaflex black adhesive just in case. Didn’t put it on yet. I’ll see how well the 3m sticks.

I love their wash and wax. Spray on a wet clear car and wipe dry. If they have the ceramic like that I’ll bite.

Seems like they modded it with a CF hood and front fenders. I’d email the insurance companies with a picture of the front windshield tinted. Seems like an obstruction of vision to me making it more fault of the red car.

It’s more for aesthetics than anything else. The stock one was low compared to the eom sport spoiler which was not even seen when the bed cover was on.

He guys, just got this in, purchased on eBay. Was trying to modify an oem tailgate spoiler to give me a more aggressive luck, but I found this and kind of bailed on that plan. I haven’t mounted it yet just a quick mock up. How’s it look?
