I’ve had this happen to me as well. I think it might have seen something on the side of the interstate and slammed them. Scared me pretty good. Haven’t had the issue since. 15,000 miles, use it everyday, only happened once (and that was enough haha).

I had the same problem. Just removed the felt and used goo off to remove the glue. No problems since. I roll it on the side if it’s too hot to touch the aluminum. I’m sure they would cover it under warranty just don’t want to be without my truck.

40 psi seems high for the tire pressure. 😆

You are absolutely correct. I just thought the summer-blend gas might help the hybrids too.

My Ecoboost has gotten better with the summer gas. Up about 4mpg.
