Trade in went from a net gain to a net loss over the 14 months and counting wait. Sold the snow tires only to need them for another winter. Scheduled with a VIN makes you do stupid things like that.
Did Ford ever send a memo to dealers to fill out the blank customer info in WBDO? Putting it back on us to pursue unresponsive dealers to do stuff like this is getting pretty tedious.
Push button start alone is worth the upgrade, especially in WI winters. Dealing with keys with your winter gear on is a hassle. Keyed ignition is for cavemen. Should go the way of the dodo.
Had to email dealer, since not a word on Monday's conversion. After 13.5 months with a $1000 deposit, the converted order was neither a priority or a concern. Customer service? Yeah, look behind the dealership, it's buried in a shallow grave.
Frustrating to see folks with responsive dealers while mine doesn't reply. When people post that changes are being accepted, I'll be on my way to see them. I won't be bringing them fresh baked cookies. That ship has sailed.
Same here, my 22 VIN is no longer valid as of today. Should be interesting to see if the transferred orders are in the system Monday. Or if it's SNAFU.
My dealer has three 22s with VINs to deal with. Sent a request to add back some things when possible and to check Smart Vincent for the private offer and other discounts. No response. Apparently they are overwhelmed by the sheer volume. The other two orders must be a real handful.
And my 22 VIN B034×× still works though I know it's canceled.
Maybe it's a way to differentiate current MY 23 orders from the coming rollovers of the 22s that were scheduled for production at balance out?
BTW: Don't freak on me, it's just a guess!
