My only problem is the attention grabbing term "Crazy Price Gouging" which simply is not true. "Crazy Dealer Mark-Up"? Possibly..."Crazy ADM"? Possibly...but it isn't price gouging, that term applies to markups on necessary goods (gas, food, etc) which the Mav doesn't fall under

OP, you could have avoided all of this by including the fact that after some time of your initial order you sent an email stating "give me a delivery date or cancel my order". But after reading through these 14 pages, I don't recall anybody asking "why did they offer you first right of refusal?"

Actually, they do. They buy the vehicle from the manufacturer for a price (referred to as an "invoice price" IIRC) and then sell that vehicle to the customer. The price you see on the window sticker is often $1-2k more than what the dealer actually paid the manufacturer for that vehicle...

I'm not even sure what the point of this thread was. IIRC, if you got a private offer, that was Ford's way of saying "Your 21/22 order probably won't get built, here's some cash to offset the 23 MY price increase"...if you didn't get a private offer, that was Ford's way of saying "Don't worry...

He left out the months for that 9% loan. 9% for 24 months? Yeah that's shitty...9% for 96 months, not so shitty. I suspect a lot of buyers are taking longer term loans to make their monthly payments lower due to prices on some vehicles being higher...

Idk about other streaming services, but with Spotify you can download all of your songs (and maybe podcasts) to your phone and listen to them without a cellular connection. Just have to pop back online once every 30 days so they know you're still a subscriber
