Price has to be a big factor. I would not be buying a more expensive vehicle under any circumstances. The perceived value of the Mav makes it a compelling choice compared to any other vehicle on the market. Fuel mileage is also a big factor.

Based on your VVT, there is nothing that would indicate yours won't be produced as a MY22. What does your dealer know that virtually no other dealers in the country know?
I would be really curious to see the order date for all these MY23 roll over orders when they start coming out. They should be the original MY22 order date.
If the dealer put your order correctly into the ROVP, the status should read unscheduled/clean, meaning no problems with your order. If it reads anything else, there is a problem.
Tim spoke once about orders that were unscheduled, unclean, would be balanced out. Was your order showing as clean when you called Ford Customer Service?
