I talked to my dealer and he said that the last week was basically a wash with the holidays and should have VIN within first 3 weeks from order (or today bc of holidays).

Any movement for you? I just ordered on 12/26 and got the initial 'your order has been submitted' email from Ford that evening. And yes I know there are MANY who have waited months... Just curious about us newer orders and how things are progressing.

FWIW ... I placed my order yesterday and the XLT Lux package is supposed to come with spray in bedliner but they are now coming with drop-in. I was actually bummed and wanted spray bedliner since I heard something (can't remember what... tonneau cover maybe?) wouldn't fit with drop-in.

Totally agree... Carmax had a used Lariat for $16K over MSRP! Buy it and sell it!

anyone know if you could fit 4 bikes in the back? either alternating directions somehow or stacking 4 front wheels on a tailgate pad? Assuming just laying 4 down on top of each other (not idea) with tailgate open could work.

tailgate assist looks like a relatively cheap add-on... can you post a link to the ones you used and of course please try to remember to post your thoughts on how well it works (or doesn't) after you get your truck and have used it for a bit?

Charlotte here as well... I drove the Area51 @ Fort Mill Ford as well. Really like the paint color but then saw some Cactus Gray (aka Jet Fighter Gray) on Broncos and think that's the color I'll go with. Placing order in next couple days and haven't settled on which dealer yet
