LOL my father in law just saw my Mav this past weekend and wouldn't stop talking about running boards. Maybe some retractable ones.... if you need them, otherwise no thanks. I do however like the look of the rack on the bed.....
remove them like I remove the stickers on items I buy at Ross. using a heat gun, or a blow dryer apply heat to the entire front of the sticker. this allows the adhesive to soften. then with your fingernail get under a corner and pull gently it should remove the sticker and MOST of the adhesive...
I was able to do a highway only mileage test this past weekend. Filled up in Palm Springs, and drove home to PHX. 289.9 miles and filled it with 9.344Gal once I got home. Trip took 4:09hrs got 31.025MPG @ an average speed of 72MPH! @pxpaulx 30mpg should be attainable!
I have seen some on the websites of a dealer here in Scottsdale AZ, a couple of them even had stock #'s. I have not reached out to find out if they were on the lot however

Their website claims they will start Delivery in January 2022. But I agree, I feel like it should be in a category of its own. that being said I wont be mad if the Mav looses to a truck that starts at 3X its price!
I don’t know about the wire harness for the inverter, but I do know that there are no wires in my truck for the outlet in the bed. I would assume that to keep costs down there is no extra copper in the vehicle.

The 4k tow package according to Ford adds a larger capacity radiator, the manual states it is 9.2qts vs 8.7qts. I know the FX4 has a more robust radiator but supposedly doesn't have the increased capacity.
also the gear ratio for the FX4...
I can tell you I have a 2017 Subaru Outback, they released a notice informing owners that the cell modem was going to loose its connection due to changing network technology. So what did Subaru do? Well for customers who were subscribing to their "My Subaru" service, they UPGRADED their cars...
Most modern vehicles do have cell modems in them. As stated earlier in this tread, OnStar was an early version of this, but a quick search of my phone’s app market shows an app for almost every vehicle manufacturer offering lock/unlock and location features. Welcome to the 21st century! Don’t...
In my humble opinion I would rather have the protection from the skid plates for the times I may go soft road in my Mav then have a convenient oil change. I have had damage in another vehicle due to off road activities and I would prefer avoiding that again. Plus, the dealer is doing all my oil...
Hey all my fellow Valley people. I am curious if any of you are interested in having a meet and greet. I was thinking about a centrally located place to meet up so we can all check out each other’s builds, and maybe have some of the guys who haven’t been able to get their butts in a Maverick to...
It’s not just about slowing down as everyone has stated, but it’s how you drive. Accelerate slowly, slow down slowly try and keep your RPM’s down. I try my hardest to not come to a complete stop as much as possible.
Also a little trick I learned owning a Prius, when you decelerate, once you...
