I wonder if they were successful in updating the software in other Hybrid Mavs? ..or just yours? Sounds like they don't have the correct version of the update.

Not sure why everyone is having issues getting the update done... I showed my dealer the TSB and took them 1h to do. The slow braking is a lot better now. No more clunk sound too.

I also have the loud idle and engine shaking when cold out and it's gone once I put in gear. No check engine light yet. Seems like many have this issue and Winter has even started yet. Hopefully Ford finds a fix soon.

I think your right, I just found a pic of the back of the speaker on Crutchfield's site. The cap should be there.

Bought a pair of Infinity Reference 6532EX at $80 ($CAD), took a chance with warehouse deals... worst case its free returns. Anybody can tell me what's going on with this mess? I intend to clean up the solder, but is the cap added by previous customer?

Newbie question: If I install my new passive crossovers with the new door woofer speaker, I can leave the factory tweeter as is right? It will not damage anything?

Many have used Hertz. OR PowerBass OE65C-FD, but might as well change the tweeters while your at it, its a direct fit. I'm no expert.. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong: For Coaxial (tweeters included in the woofer speaker) if your not adding an amp, stick with a good known brand...

I wanted the Powerbass for the easy swap. For the same price ($225+ shipped to Canada) I could get something better... Thanks for your input on Powerbass! I could be wrong but, Crutchfield will give you the door speaker harness, but they wont give you the tweeter harness ($20 on Amazon.ca)...

I was looking at $100 -$150. crutchfield stuff comes with harness and bracket,, which would save me $20+.
