July 7, XLT +Lux.
besides order confirmation, on;y other email o got from ford was that Iāll get free fits accessories and that I should drop the Lux option. Other than that, nothing.
I got my order confirmed July 7. Not yet scheduled to be built. Anyone else in the June/July range waiting?
cactus gray hybrid XLT, Lux package.
ordered from Tuttle-Click Ford in Irvine, CA
Ender 3 S1. Pretty much the ender 3 v2 with all the upgrades that you will end up doing anyway. ~$430 and I donāt have to fiddle with it. I did take my time assembling it and making sure everything was square. I have not had to relevel the plate in the 2 months that Iāve been using it.
I recently got the ender 3 S1. $430 at micro center. Yes, more expensive, but way better out of the box and has all the mods that you would end up getting anyway. And the silent motherboard is the way to go, itās just fan noise like when you computer is doing some hard processing. My sister...
iām in the same boat ($500 deposit, early July order), but received an email from my dealer today mentioning that I should get rid of the Lux package. I emailed back asking if I can add CP360 instead. i really didnāt care much for the CP360, but liked all, the add ons the LUX package included...
Be ready to wait. I have a similar order, hybrid XLT, cactus gray +lux package. I got my order confirmation July 10. I was not one of the lucky ones to get an email last Thursday.
MPG for me. No need for HP, i just need the bed so i can transport my motorcycle to the track and go fast there. And having a bed means i can carpool with a friend and take 2 motorcycles. Itās wasteful to take 2 separate vehicles to transport 2 people and 2 motorcycles and both vehicles only...
I donāt get why people would pay over msrp on a maverick. Itās an economy car. Itās suppose to be lower priced. I understand that thereās a scarcity, but like someone else mentioned, people will buy the hybrid for the gas savings. Paying $5k over will negate the first 5 years of gas savings. If...
dude, that is awesome. Would be a deal breaker if I canāt load 2 dirt bikes in back. Only concern I see, could maybe be an optical illusion, but if you look on the side view pic, the tailgate isnāt parallel to the ground. hopefully itās not a big deal.
also great color, i got the same on order.
We didnāt weld the folding mechanism, so still foldable, theoretically. He has space, so we never really folded it. And there were bolts underneath that needed to be taken out to fold, so we never bothered.
itās my friendās trailer. I convinced my friend to buy it, so I could rent it from him after we modified it. I live in a condo with a 1 car garage. No room for a trailer with all the motorcycles and bicycles in the garage.
Iāve used a HF trailer to haul over 1000lb (2 adventure bikes ~550lb each) of motorcycle 1000 mi each way from Los Angeles to Portland. When we first assembled the trailer, it had way too much flex. If you stood on one corner, it would deflect like 6ā. We ended up welding rectangular tubing...
Iāll have to weld something up that bolts where the d rings go that will give more anchor options. Then add a cross bar that connects to the 2 upper rails to get 2 more anchors. Iāll lose some inches on bed length, but I plan on using u channels anyway to get extra length and reduce load on...
Not kidding at all. Granted this pic isnāt the Maverick, but in general, the hinge is not like a piano hinge the has a minimal gap when opened and closed. When closed, the gap between the plastic bed liner is probably only 1ā. When open, you can see the gap grows.
Hereās my take on it.
yes 2 bikes will fit, I would put in some u channel at rails to help distribute the weight of the bike to the bed. Bikes may be light, but when strapped down, Iām sure itāll get close to the tailgate load limit.
I know the length of the Sargon with tailgate down in not 100%...
Wheel well spacing is important in this case cause the wheel wells reach all the way to the front of the bed. Iāll most likely load it so that the motorcycle tires are right up against the wells.
