I talked about this on my Santa Cruz review. Oddly people on here went apeshit defending the SC. My Maverick was $23k and the SC I drove was $39k and honestly wasn’t any nicer. SC should be hybrid, far cheaper, and a different front end design imo. There were 5 on the lot when I reviewed it...
First impressions
I’m loving it. I look forward to digging deep into all the ins and outs of this pickup. I’m very fortunate to have gotten it so quickly. I got completely screwed on my 22 and came close to not even bothering with a Maverick. Glad I didn’t give up on it.
Haha well I’m picking up the Hybrid today at noon. Tremor should be in by the end of the month. Going to be a tough choice. I do think I’m going to be more pumped about the Tremor but do I really need it? No, does anyone? Probably not unless they live out in the country or in the mountains with...
They are still selling for a crap ton of money and there’s no deals on lots. Hybrid will pull markups for a long time to come I’m willing to bet. Go try to find a new Corolla hybrid just sitting on the lot, you won’t.
My Tremor has said In production for almost a month. My build date is Jan 9th according to the email from Ford. Looks to be accurate since there’s been no movement. Still a lot better than last year.
Dealership said to anticipate arrival between the 7th and 13th of January. Ordered 9/17/22. White XL, trailer hitch is the only option I got. Did this because I knew they would build a lot of fleet spec vehicles quickly and it looks like it worked!
I recently sold my 21 Corolla. It’s a good-ish appliance but I didn’t like it. I had the SE with premium package. The road noise was very annoying and ride quality wasn’t good. The gas mileage in town wasn’t great but I could get 47hwy with a tailwind. Good car but not my cup of tea.
