Two things in your post are confusing. The hybrid does not have a tachometer but you mention .5-1(000) rpm. You also mention auto start stop being on, thats not a selectable thing in hybrids.
Those are what I switched to, they are a great tire but I am not sure they are available in 6-ply like OP wants at least not in a size that fits our trucks.
Edit: I am having trouble finding ply count for the tires. But 235/70r17 the firestones are available in their xl load and in my opinion...
I haven't seen a front mounted bike rack on anything other than a city bus. Cons: worse aerodynamics, worse visibility, difficult to mount it to the truck probably will need to custom fab something. Pros: ???
The dealer mispoke about how payload in the truck affects tow rating. The tongue weight of the trailer comes out of payload(passengers and stuff in the bed).
Lets say your boat and trailer weigh 2000lbs and assume 10% weight on the hitch (200lbs). You are at max tow weight and have 1300lbs left...
You are looking for a piggyback tune.
Burgermotorsports jb4 is an example. It does not rewrite anything. From what I read is that it is not completely untraceable. Something about the vehicle opperating outside of normal parameters but it does not reflash anything.
The one I went to had speakers you could clip on somewhere(admittedly pretty crappy quality)or the radio option. But still they are in the bed with a non opening rear window. I do like your portable radio idea though.

Recently my Maverick has had trouble catching the next gear when it is up shifting. It only seems to happen once after a cold start usually on my way to work and not as often in the afternoon after sitting for 8 hours. It happens under 30mph on moderate acceleration so I...
235/65/r17 wildpeaks are standard on tremor and were an option for fx4's. The speedo can be calibrated to that size. Mpg impact is minimal. I just replaced my scorpian tires with firestone at2 in 235/65 r17 because they are comprable in performance but weigh less than the wildpeaks.

If I remember correctly(my auto s/s hasnt worked in over a year) it will significantly decrease blower speed if engine is off to conserve electricity. But I read your other comment about the lights going off, i have no clue then.
To get this straight, you want to paint the wheels while still on the truck. (With spray paint...)
Do not do this. It will look like crap you will get paint on things you dont intend to and or shouldn't (like your rotors)
Either learn how to dismount your wheels and do it off the truck...
