  1. This is not right.

I hate to admit it but you are right about that...human nature is what it is. I wouldn't sell mine for a few thousand dollar profit once I get it because then I would still have to replace it by waiting a year for another Maverick or buying a Toyota, Ford Escape or Honda hybrid. I don't want...
  2. This is not right.

I'm not buying mine to flip it, I'm getting it to drive it for 6+ years and I want a Maverick Hybrid which combines utility and superlative mpg.
  3. This is not right.

If expecting a fair deal at MSRP from a dealer and expecting them to play by Ford's rules makes me an entitled cry baby then oh well.
  4. This is not right.

I get it. Free Enterprise. The other side of the coin is taking care of a loyal customer and building a relationship for future business. OP is buying a truck, not a sandwich. Charging above MSRP is discouraged by Ford and amounts to, in this case, a greedy dealer who thinks it is more...
  5. Ford Increasing Maverick Production In Response To Strong Customer Demand

I can't wait to get my Maverick so I can load it up with Hostess Chocolate Cupcakes! MMMmmmm
  6. Ford Increasing Maverick Production In Response To Strong Customer Demand

Dealer told me I am priority 10 above everyone else and now I read this. Getting a sliver of hope that I might see my Maverick this summer!
  7. Tempted, but what would I do?

That's just over what I will be paying for the Lariat Lux Hybrid I ordered (assuming it ever gets made-LOL). I could not justify more than $25K OUT THE DOOR for that sweet little truck. $33K? Noooooo!
  8. No Scheduling This Week – March 3, 2023. [Current Constraints: Trailer Tow Hitch, Splash Guards & Trifold Bed Cover, Load Box Bed Liner]

I have a couple friends with Chevy Colorados and one with a GMC Canyon and all are very happy with their trucks. For me, a new F-150 is starting to look better and better but have to wear mine out first which isn't going to happen anytime soon. If the Mav materializes, great. If not then...
  9. No Scheduling This Week – March 3, 2023. [Current Constraints: Trailer Tow Hitch, Splash Guards & Trifold Bed Cover, Load Box Bed Liner]

A couple more months of this BS and I may just toss the Maverick idea and get a new F-150 instead. Oh wait, that's what Ford wants me to do so they make more money. LOL!
  10. No Scheduling This Week - Feb 23, 2023

I will be suprised if I even get a Mav. While I realize many have waited longer than me, it is a disappointing process. I really want this little truck, so I have no choice but to put this on the back burner and be patient.
  11. Used Maverick Prices (Carvana,Vroom) prices have increased greatly over the last 90 days

That’s why I’m hanging on to my F150 after I get the Mav. Also, I don’t think anyone ever ordered a POS 3-cyl Fiesta and had to wait a year for it.
  12. 📬 2/16/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOT YET ARRIVING]

Does Ford send scheduling emails any other day than on Thursdays?
  13. 📬 2/9/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING]

Congratulations to those who got the coveted email saying their Mav is getting built.
  14. 📬 2/2/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING]

Looks like everyone came up empty this Thursday….see what next week brings. I wish Toyota made a Prius pickup truck…
  15. 📬 2/2/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING]

I received my 45-day email the day before yesterday. Doesn't look like anyone has gotten scheduled yet. What time on Thursdays does Ford usually send out the emails telling you you're scheduled?
  16. My 2023 Maverick

Maybe a loose heat shield somewhere near the exhaust?
