If you have a car wash where you get out of the vehicle putting it into temporary neutral will not work. As soon as you open the door or many other things it automatically puts it in park. I have to ride thru the car wash with my hybrid. Normally I would turn it over to the car wash guys and...
My pest control guy had to look it over last time he was here and when I was at Walgreens I had just walked a little ways from the truck and an employee came running out of the store to grab me and ask about it. I gave her the tour as I have anyone else wanting to look. At the dentist office I...
You could contact your local TV station or their local TV station if they are in another town. They may want to do a story. One of our stations has an investigative reporter.
The antenna is probably satellite equipped but you would have to access it thru the headliner although my Tacoma had one and even an antenna lead that came down to behind the drivers kick panel. Made it easy to install XM.
I kinda missed having that when they started putting them on one of the stalks. I also liked the older 67 mustangs that had a pedal to squirt washer fluid on the windshield and activate the wipers. A poor man's delayed wiper. If you just push it a little it would do one swipe of the window. Push...
I think I experienced it once but only for 2-3 seconds. I got off the throttle and it went away. Accelerated again and it did not return. I thought I had a flat or something. It was a pretty good shake too. What it sounds like is when you start off in too high a gear in a manual tranny.
The app on your phone is great if you have a cellular signal! It can be pretty sparse out here in the American west especially New Mexico, the state I live in.
I recently completed installing Sirius/XM radio in my new truck. I thought I would document it for those wanting to install it in their Maverick. The mounting bracket is unique and uses the dash cubby next to the center screen.
The first thing I ordered was a set of tools to remove different...
Yes, it will run on battery only if you run out of gas. It gives you about 3.5 miles at a slow speed of 20-30 mph. There is a thread on here with video of a guy running is tank dry then driving till the battery gave out. He brought some gas cans with him to put some fuel back in.
I did that with my Mini too. Parked next to it with a Tacoma I had at the time. A blast of wind caught the door and dinged the Mini. I only got one more ding the entire time I owned it and it was much smaller than the one I put on it.
I haven't noticed any issue at all. The first 3-4 times I stopped on the first day I had it I noticed they were a little sensitive and adjusted. No problems since. I came from a Mini Cooper S with a manual tranny so maybe I'm use to sensitive brakes.
