Perhaps you should see what they are selling for now. Ford will still be back logged next year as far as hybrid Mavericks. They know that and is the reason they will still produce less than the demand. Nothing has changed.
Think about it for a minute. A brand new vehicle and people are carrying around something to jump it should the vehicle die somewhere. Totally ridiculous especially since this is a known problem, ignored by Ford for so many months. This should be a recall, nothing less.
This has been going on since the first hybrids were delivered. Ford's refusal to recall them before people were left stranded on the road was an example of how not to treat your customers. Which led me to sell mt hybrid and buy from a manufacturer that treats their customers better. Never again...
Mine did the same thing. Since I'm retired and do not drive as much anymore. my hybrid would sit in the garage for 3-4 days at a time. When I would go out and open the door, no lights and no display on the dash or infotainment screen. I would put it on the trickle charger and that would fix it...
No big deal. I experienced the same thing when they disconnected the battery and did module updates. Your computer will need to relearn your driving and will eventually correct itself.
Yeah, I recall every time a recall was announced for the '22, those waiting for their '23 would say, "Glad I'm getting a '23, by then they'll have all the recalls ironed out!"🤣🤣
I fixed mine. Sold it for $8000 more than I paid for it and bought something reliable. Maybe a few years from now I'll try another. For now, Ford has released the hybrid with way too many problems and often no good fixes.
