I really considered the 10", but being I am a hard rock guy I wanted the bass to be more short and punchy and less long and boomy.

I guess for me the Maverick was a want and not a need so I was fine with waiting. I expected at least a 6 month wait and fine waiting longer, but got mine in 4 months. I should mention my dealer was fantastic in getting the order placed and having my priority filed at 10 instead of the default...

Now that I get. If I came across an existing Mav that was available with my options and price I would also jump on it. In my case I waited 4 months for mine.

That is the current plan then using the AudioControl LC2i to hook the Kicker into.

Someone help me out here. Are people really so impatient that they will buy an available Maverick while they wait for their custom order?? That seems insane to me.

You can't order until next Summer. Ford closed the 2022 model year order books a while back.

For the people installing the Kicker Hideaway 8" as your sub are you tapping into the speaker wires in the 4" c-pillar speakers or are you tapping all the way up in the front of the cab at the harness plugs?? Thanks. As a second question, is a LOC required when adding the Kicker Hideaway?

Can anyone clarify which Metra speaker harness adapters work for the tweeters in our trucks? Is it the 72-5600 or the 72-5601's? I have seen a couple of threads that mention both.

I checked out the PowerBass 4" speakers, but what is not mentioned on the Amazon listing is they are 2-ohm and not 4-ohm :-(

So in reading this forum I see the rear speakers in the bas audio system is 4". What are some recommended 4" speakers that would complement PowerBass front speakers? I am wanting to do a budget upgrade for the Mav, nothing crazy, just something that will be a good improvement over the crap stock...
