Those auto start-start are things for the ecoboost forum folks & I don’t believe your hybrid is malfunctioning as there are many contributing factors to why your ice/engine runs.
I also have an FX4 with the optional wheels/falken’s and did try the tremor when it first came without noticing much difference on road, however the tremor definitely offers more off road capabilities (locking axle in the rear) and is something I personally can’t justify the cost to upgrade now...
This was the ford branded soft rollup & you can see only the clamps protrude into the bed & rolls up not blocking view, but can be pushed fairly tight if you need to use the whole bed
No rust and currently have over 100k miles, since I took delivery October of 2021 and Michigan uses plenty of salt. I do run through the car wash w/underbody blast frequently though.
I have the ford branded soft rollup cover (it was also the only one available when i got my truck in october 2021). If the cover is centered properly and tightened securely should be fine, but i don't believe any tonneau covers are absolutely leak free. I also live in Michigan w/o any complaints...
I don’t know if you had your maverick last winter, but the fuel economy does drop off, but mine came with 235 falkens originally and I averaged over 30 in the summer (I drive a lot of highway to work @ 70+ mph)
As others have mentioned the noise is probably normal, yes the stereo & blue tooth does have some issues (perform resets helps for awhile by holding power & forward at same time until screen blacks out). The manual does say 87 is fine but recommends premium for towing or hot weather (many...
I have the ford soft rollup cover and as long as it centered and tight should be fine. with that being said there are seals you can add to help for leaks but I don't think any covers protect from all leaks & since all covers mount to seal on the rails I would assume the tri fold should be the same?
there are many variables when it activates, such as engine temperature (if just started won't shut off for awhile), if you have fan speed on high usually won't let it shut off and like the other said state of battery charge - but if you see the light showing not available and then it goes off it...
The fx4 (approx. $800) gave the lariat style larger dash cluster, different wheels, trailer hitch, skid protection, larger fan & radiator as well as the only way to get frame mounted tow hooks (prior to tremor) and was best bang for your money as it was worth it for the dash for myself. But...
I’m not sure of anyone that actually makes different shocks yet, so that answers your questions… I used to change them depending on how low I went, but for my Maverick I am using the HR super sports & no problems (I also have over 60k on since lowered/100k miles total on mine since I had to wait...
you can check tire websites like our sponsors for discount tire/tire rack shows +pus sizes that would fit w/o throwing the speedometer off and/or bigger sizes that fit...
I’m sure many dealers will since you’re paying for it, even the grainger dealer on here given discounts, etc… I don’t see any problem getting deals with delivery and I see plenty of new ones on the lots around here. Dealership should be able to get payment from you easily.
Yes, it’s still the best bargain for a truck-like vehicle with best fuel economy (hybrid or even turbo) just depends on what you need and/or want to do with it.
