technically per: instructions they were designed correct fit to be on the seal/flush with the mirror and not on the top of the door, but it's a matter of preference can go either way.
don't they run idle whilst getting loaded on the train and off? onto the truck and off? around the dealership for inspection, cleaning, etc... you can not pick the truck up from the end of the assembly line you know ;)
sorry you had problems, all manufacturers have warranty problems/recalls,etc. i really don't think you can blame mexico or ford as you see there isn't any automobile companies that are perfect w/0 production issues. i had taken mine in for an oil change & dealer not only took care the tank swap...
Hope you’re enjoying your maverick. Yep I was one of many that purchased from dealership lot back in October at that time hybrid wasn’t available for purchase yet and there were a few on lots available for purchase and I have since seen many on the forums here showing there’s with their stories too.
I don’t really see how much they can offer on the maverick with all the plastic trim at the bottom all around to both bumpers. I know some wanna put push bars on the front too, but there’s not much to support anything like behind the plastic bumper cover either?… the bronco is also shorter...
I think it really depends on the wheels… my choice would be black if the wheels are shiney bright/polished or chrome but I would prefer white lettering on the steelies or machined finish like mine I would prefer white lettering as I have the optional wheels came with the falkens. They don’t...
if you wanna make more power that 2.0 can be "tuned" and new inter-cooler upgrades, etc... would be a lot easier/cheaper than engine swap + extra upgrades it would need as well. check out any of the focus st forums - however if's you just wanna go a different route to be different there's...
At the time last October they didn’t even have the ok to buy on hybrid yet, ordering anything was going to take at least a few months (didn’t know then would be a lot longer) and I really needed a vehicle used cars were (& still are outrageous $) so I searched around for available maverick’s to...
It just sounds to me like you're trying to play the mark-up game/making money off the current market. You bought a bronco sport expecting to make a profit while waiting for your maverick to come in to make a profit until your bronco sport comes in that you really want.
I don't know how you got on a list to "order" a 2023? We're all unable to do that until August and when that comes around then you will see if any option changes are different than the 2022 model year that have been stopped as of November (hybrid) and January for all the rest...
that's the way they have been put on for many years and all have been fine... if you see any older vehicles with any of the items you're interested in then you can judge for yourself.
i have heard some people have experienced problems with the cv/axle shafts on some of the 2+ inch lifted mavericks (and bronco sports) and depends on your dealership have found some are getting warranty work as needed (just not the "non-oem" suspension pieces) as i have been watching myself i...
that ram dakota is still built like the full size w/body on frame and may still offer the V8 which is keeping this far apart from the maverick for people like myself that enjoy the smaller size.
i have always loved chrysler (now stellantis) looks & styling in both cars & trucks and even had a...
