I definitely agree with that. We were thinking about reserving the Santa Cruz but I couldnāt get past the look of it. Iām sure the limited version will be more than what I wanted to spend, so Maverick Lariat it is! Bonus gas mileage and functionality for the win.
You bring up a very good point. The cities I live in typically are way ahead on charging infrastructure so there often is plentiful (and often free) charging when they are not down, but I only just now live in an apartment with chargers. Iām moving in a couple of months and wonāt have that again...
Oh, and the reservations werenāt reservations like the Bronco and others, so I havenāt seen it tied to email addresses on the Ford site like my Bronco order that I can see under Orders & Reservations. I donāt think anyone else has it like that either, from what Iāve read.
I had a short discussion on here with someone about that. They brought up the MagnusonāMoss Warranty Act, but I did a lot of research and found out that these dealer āwarrantiesā are actually service contracts since they are not the manufacturer and can, in fact, make these requirements since...
They said it was due to Toyotaās flat beige color you see on all those Taco TRDs. Resale value of Tacos/Tundras = beige is better resale. Kind of false.
