  1. I’m getting more discouraged about my order

Nov 1, 2022 order and have a build date. Luxury!šŸ™ƒ
  2. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

We all know that the main appeal for most buyers is the hybrid drivetrain. For the 2022 MY Ford made the hybrid the least expensive option……and oh by the way you could have the EB for an up charge. The hybrids are what Ford wants to produce……but they can’t. For 2023 they made both drivetrains...
  3. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

Well there is that:) Hovever I will take Toyota’s track record over any other brand. Over the weekend I rented a new Ford Explorer. Fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. Very cheaply made and would be surprised if it lasts 100K miles.
  4. Hyundai takes direct jabs at Maverick in new Santa Cruz ad!

Whenever I look at the Santa Cruz I throw-up a bid in my mouth. I can honestly say that abomination will never ā€œgrow on meā€. Neither has the Honda Ridgeline.
  5. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

Toyota is doing the Toyota thing. Watch from the sidelines to see what shakes out and then come in to the market with a better product. Well if history repeat’s itself Camry Prius Tacoma Tundra……..
  6. What is your opinion on the Black Appearance Package?

Agree removal of the gawd awful Orange is going to be wonderful.
  7. Ford's blue oval badge shortage affecting F-Series trucks

That's ok I planned on taking the Blue Oval off anyway;)
  8. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

We are all dreamers on this site........I am dreaming of having a Maverick inside of a 24M wait :)
  9. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

Said it before and will say it again. When Toyota comes out with their hybrid small pickup and if it doesn't look like the Santa Cruz abomination, I will be first in line.
  10. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

6-8 months? Sweet. My 2022 Maverick that will be a 2023 will take about 18m if I am lucky
  11. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

No clue I wouldn’t consider any of their products so I haven’t kept up with them.
  12. Elephant in room: Around 80% of orders are Hybrids.

Chrysler does suck. Made the mistake of buying my wife a Grand Cherokee back in the day. Sold it with less thank 30K miles. Never again.
  13. Will The Maverick Black Appearance Package Sell Out??

For me the Black Appearance Package was an easy yes. I was already planning on changing the wheels on my XLT build and the interior was a slam dunk. To be honest now seeing the Black Appearance package I don’t think I would want the truck without it……I like it that much.
  14. Ordered on Thursday still no email

I got an email from Ford saying my 2023 was on order. My dealer just reordered my truck without contacting me  Problem is that the packages have changed and I have told them more than once that I wanted to change my 2023 configuration.
  15. Why get the 2023 XLT trim??

    Black Appearance PackagešŸ‘
  16. Compensation from Ford for hybrid defects

My name is DEEZEE and I endorse this message 😁 Agree 100% on the Ford fanboys running wild. Ford needs to make their customers job #1 and make warranty work a priority instead of the next car. ā€œIf we use parts for repairs then we can’t use them to make the next vehicleā€. About a year ago I was...
  17. Compensation from Ford for hybrid defects

I hear you but you have someone making a car payment and then on top of it a car rental that isn’t cool. For Ford to pay the bill for a rental without a steak dinner is not asking too much.
