I'm posting this as an FYI.
This happened a couple weeks ago, during our first warm weather spell here in SE Michigan. No signs of a crack after running errands on a Saturday, then a crack on Monday when I got in to go somewhere. I don't know if it was a contributing factor, but the weather was...
I've seen a few Mavs in the Ann Arbor-Ypsi-Canton Twp area where I am mostly driving. 4 or 5 total, I think. Plus mine. I've noticed a few people checking my truck out and have chatted with a couple of interested people.
I snagged a refused order (XLT Eco 4K and FX4) back in late January. My...
I had a 76 Comet, the Mercury version of the old Maverick. The hood went on forever, haha. It was a fun car to drive in good weather, but just a sled in the snow. My sister ended up sliding off an overpass in a snowstorm and totalling it. Thankfully she was ok.
It was an awful flat baby...
It comes in clear too, both are options if you search Amazon for Xpel Clear Universal Protection.
Stupid forum won't let me post a direct link without weird formatting
Not to rain on everyone's parade, but page 253 of the PDF version of the owner's manual specifically says "We do not recommend using your pickup for carrying a slide-in camper"...
Link to the post I made about the weird behavior I encountered once. I have not had any issues since.

I had my dealer install both the hood and door deflectors, using my Ford points to cover most of the cost. I am happy with both. I like the clean look of the stick on hood deflector.
I was approached by someone at the post office today with questions about my Mav. He said he has an older SportTrack and was thinking of getting a Mav to replace it.
I would hold on to your PIN for X-plan until you purchase. I ordered from one dealer and gave them my PIN, but when they were evasive about signing a purchase agreement, I started worrying about add ons and went looking elsewhere.
I found a declined customer order in shipment at another dealer...
Haha great Top Gun reference.
I also added the WeatherTech mats right away, here in MI. Mud flaps will be added soon as well.
While the speakers aren't great, they sound ok with Spotify via Bluetooth. Usually in the 15-20 volume range. It seems to run a bit quieter than the radio.
I love the smooth surface and once we get warmer temperatures here in MI I plan to add some fun stickers, using cling film: apply the sticker to cling and then cling to the surface. Works well on painted exterior too, and makes removal easy.
I have a collection of stickers I buy from favorite...
I'm using an older Samsung phone running Android 6 and the Spotify app via Bluetooth and like the functionality. It automatically starts and stops the music with the car. I have a few playlists I've downloaded to the phone so it doesn't need wifi/cellular.
My one, very minor, complaint is that...
Google lead me to this, which is just the cover that you stitch on yourself for $33. I'd be much more comfortable with that than tackling electronics...
For now I'm still stuck with the OEMs and waiting until everyone gets caught up on Mav specs for their products.
I only had real trouble with them during the snowstorm. Otherwise they are ok.
I went to my mechanic to replace the wipers with Bosch but we couldn't get them to fit. We tried what is recommended for Escape and Bronco Sport.
Generally the OEM wipers are ok, but they were awful in a snow storm. Froze up and stopped clearing the top third of the windshield, because they...
As a horse owner I knew this would be a good option. Though i am also considering wash stall mats, for better drainage. They call them anti-fatigue, but we use them in the horse wash stall for good traction.

You're saying don't use a brush, but use a brush....?
I was using the brush to do a surface cleaning. The wood head at most made glancing contact. I used my hands to clear out the handles, mirrors, window seams, etc.
I've had several "inexpensive" cars over the decades, never seen paint this...
