Wow. Thank you for sharing that. Wishing you Safe Travels ! And in this case that Technology made your travel Safe. ☆ I am glad I ordered it for mine as well
Likewise ! I am 63, and want to keep that 360, No way I am dropping that ! However I just contacted my Ford Representative today, he informed me that a " start to build date " has now been assigned for March 23rd ( my original order date was November 21, 2021 ) and that no changes can be made...
I have # 1 ( Spray in Bedliner ) and # 6 ( Co-Pilot 360 ) with my Non LUX XLT . I would drop #1, as I can get a . bedliner aftermarket. But would not want to drop the CO Pilot 360..Do you know if that 1 to 10 list is in order of most necessary to drop to least, to expedite an order ?
I think many of us ordered something we later thought we should not have ordered . Or left something off we should have ordered. But I think once our Mavericks finally arrive, it will be just fine . 🙂
Will Ford send all of us who have 2022 Mavericks now, or on order , a copy ? Since they are not taking any new orders until August 2023. However, thanks for including the PDF copy.
Yes. The first rule in transporting a load, should be ; " Secure the load" . No matter how small the Trucked. I have a " Gorrilla " cargo net in my Ranger, it works great. It also has ratchet straps, if needed
Yes so often just specific to the FX4 ,
. But on one FX 4 test I saw, it said you . " lose the Eco and Sport modes" ( on the FX4 ) so I assume those are on the AWDs that are not FX4 models,
The FWD only ; applies when that extra traction from the Rear wheels is Not required ( This saveS fuel )
The AWD applies in lower traction situations.
So while you could say , it is " mostly running in FWD mode " , there are times when the AWD will be needed, to have sufficient Traction...
If you don't like the terms of the Contract, nobody is forcing you to buy a Ford Lightning in the first place . They are not putting the clause in on deals that have already been made .
I do think however a person should be able to sell it for what they paid for it in the first year of...
Exactly . Ford has every right to make a Contract like that to prevent Flipping. If a person does not like it, they do not have to sign it and do not have to buy the Lightning.
I think it would be better if a person could sell at their cost or less, in that first year. I'm sure Ford has...
I think it OK for Ford to put some kind of restrictions in a contract to prevent " Flipping "
But it should be OK to resell the Ford Lightning in the first year, at the same cost as the buyer paid for it. .No selling at seems a bit much ,
As Ford has proposed, It's an odd arrangement...
Good idea. The Pirellis ATRs are classified as Summer or 3 season tires in Canada. They are not even legal for Winter use on the highway where I live. I ordered my Maverick
with the Falken Wildpeaks, at least they have a 3 peak Snowflake rating
Good video, I like how it shows that they tried different traction settings to get up the hill. And that they were using the same tires ( Falken Wilpeaks AT 3Ws) as are available from the factory with the FX4 . Great information, thanks for posting
It's not the wrong forum as the subject is Relevant . If you watched the Video you could see how, the FX 4 handles the snow in different modes, and with the factory available Falken tires
That is good that your tires are M / S ( Mud and Snow ) rated. In that case they would actually be legal where I live . ( At least on the FX4 ; I wonder if the FX 4 comes with a different Pirelli tire in the US compared to Canada )
Of course, there is also the possibility I was just...
I live in BC, Canada and the stock Pirellis are not even legal for 6 or 7 months of the year on the highways ( October 1st to April 30th in my area ) , as they do not have a Snowflake or M / S designation . I ordered my Maverick with the Falkens as they do have the " Snowflake"...
I live in Canada , ordered the FX 4,
with the Falken Wildpeak AT3s , in part because they are winter rated and it appears the Pirelli scorpions are not. In some roads in BC, it is a legal requirement to have winter rated Tires with the Snowflake or M/S rating , for the winter season . The...
